STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

This class is designed to get you stronger and faster. Using the principles of specificity and progressive overload while focusing on the development of proper technique and movement patterns, the first part of this class will focus on developing strength for several different squats, lunges, presses and pulls. You will finish the session with energy systems training designed to strengthen your cardiovascular system and improve both total body and local muscular endurance.

STRENGTH

This class is designed to get you stronger and faster. Using the principles of specificity and progressive overload while focusing on the development of proper technique and movement patterns, this class will focus on developing strength for several different squats, lunges, presses and pulls. This class is designed to solely develop your strength.

FEMME ATTACK

No experience needed to hit things, but we will totally teach you the proper technique to help keep you safe and look like a total bad-ass. Femme ATTACK combines aspects of kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA for a fun and empowering action-packed class where you will do bag work, partner pad work and finish with some conditioning rounds. This is a great FULL body workout, and a perfect way to let shit go.

YOGA

Femme Force Now Offers Yoga! Come as you are and explore yoga in our safe, non-heated, women’s only environment. In our Femme Force Yoga Series, we will play with asanas (poses), pranayama (breath practice), and mindful meditation. It doesn’t matter where you are on life’s journey; we encourage you to open your heart to receive the gifts that yoga brings into our lives. Through yoga we learn to let go of our judgement and self-made expectations, which allows us to soften our heart to ourself, embrace where we are in the present moment, and honor our body.

Restorative Yin Yoga

This gentle yoga class is about ” being ” not ” doing” YIN restorative is a beautiful practice of slowing down and letting go through guided breath work and restorative supported postures. Postures are held for 5-7 minutes to allow you to work deeper into the connective tissue, while feeling supported in a safe space. This is an opportunity to observe sensation and watch it pass. EVERY BODY is welcome. No experience needed to come be still and possibly take a nap.
